Back for a Second Year At The Shed

Back for a second year!

If you need to get your son or daughter on the ice before tryouts and are looking for a high tempo practice then look no further!

I am running sessions again this year at "The Shed" located on the 5th Concession East.

For those that know me I have been a coach in Flamborough and have coached from IP to Peewee Rep over the past 8 seasons. For those that may not know me here's what others have said about last year's sessions:

My son made the Sabres team, and the 6 sessions he attended I'm sure kept his legs in shape.

I felt the sessions were good and not over crowded for the size of ice!

Thank you for running the extra sessions. My daughter truly enjoyed them. She especially liked the sessions that focused on edge work.

Each 1 hour session will run on the following dates and times.

Times will be:

April 4

• 6:00 - 7:00 Tyke/Novice
• 7:00 - 8:00 Atom/Peewee
• 8:00 - 9:00 Peewee/Bantam

April 7

• 6:00 - 7:00 Tyke/Novice
• 7:00 - 8:00 Atom/Peewee
• 8:00 - 9:00 Peewee/Bantam

April 11

• 6:00 - 7:00 Tyke/Novice
• 7:00 - 8:00 Atom/Peewee
• 8:00 - 9:00 Peewee/Bantam

April 14

• 6:00 - 7:00 Tyke/Novice
• 7:00 - 8:00 Atom/Peewee
• 8:00 - 9:00 Peewee/Bantam

April 18

• 6:00 - 7:00 All ages

April 20

• 6:00 - 7:00 All ages

Each session will focus on these main areas of hockey development

• Conditioning
• Footwork
• Skating for power
• Stickhandling
• Shooting
• Checking/Angling

• Small space drills with increased tempo to simulate game play situations
• Instructor has been a head coach for 8 seasons and knows what it takes to be selected for a rep team
